DAGS: Reloaded Revisiting Dyadic Key Encapsulation
Published in *Code-Based Cryptography Workshop 2019*, 2018
In this paper, we revisit key aspects of the DAGS Key Encapsulation Mechanism, originally submitted to the NIST post-quantum standardization process.
Key contributions:
- Refactored the key generation, encapsulation, and decapsulation algorithms to fit an alternative KEM framework
- Proposed new parameter sets based on binary Goppa codes
- Analyzed trade-offs between the variants, focusing on both efficiency and security
